Norton Grounds Farm is the ideal base for exploring the North Cotswolds and beyond. The history surrounding the area is diverse, from the medieval Warwick Castle, Shakespeare's Stratford and Sudeley Castle at Winchcombe, once home to Queen Katherine Parr and indeed her final resting place.

 

The county town of Worcester with its' fine cathedral, world famous porcelain and riverside views. Oxford and on the way, the stately home of Blenheim Palace in Woodstock.  

 

For retail therapy you have the smart regency town of Cheltenham, or the largest shopping mall in Europe - Birmingham's Bull Ring. You will amazed at all our area has to offer- so why not linger longer with us!

Hidcote Gardens
Hidcote is one of England's great gardens. Designed and created by the horticulturist Major Lawrence Johnston in the Arts & Crafts style, it is made up of exquisite garden rooms, each possessing its own special character.  

 

Visitors will discover rare shrubs and trees, outstanding herbaceous borders and unusual plant species. The garden changes in harmony with the seasons, from vibrant spring bulbs to autumn's glorious Red Border.

 

Nestled in the Cotswolds with sweeping views across the Vale of Evesham, Hidcote is appealing all year round.

At any time of the year there is something of interest to draw you back again and again. Batsford Park Arboretum
Situated one and a quarter miles west of Moreton-in-Marsh, Batsford Arboretum is tucked away on a south facing escarpment of the famous Cotswold Hills.

Mill Dene Garden
Mill Dene is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has at least 12 gardens of national, if not international, importance within a 20 mile radius, such as Hidcote and Kiftsgate. Wendy Dare, who used to be the National Gardens Scheme Organiser in the area (and, incidentally, a judge at Chelsea Flower Show, is happy to give advice. 

 

This romantic garden is set around a lovely mill which is probably Norman. Sited in its own steep sided valley, the garden has hidden paths winding up from the mill-pool and stream at the bottom through the Rose Walk to the Cricket Lawn.

The largest Cotswold village in Worcestershire - in the lee of Fish Hill - home to Art Galleries, Antique Shops, delightful pubs and restaurants and beautiful scenery - 4 miles.

A 100 mile hike from Chipping campden in the north to Bath in the south. Plenty of hostelries along the way. There is a footpath to The Cotswold Way (starts just 2 miles) from Norton Grounds Farm

There are many courses nearby: Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Worcester.

A Cotswold Stone Castle - famous for Henry VIII's wife's 'accommodation'.
Broadway Tower
Broadway Tower is set on an ancient beacon site and built as a token of love. The Tower is open and for a small fee you may climb to the very top and enjoy the extensive views across the Worcestershire countryside. There is also a park at the tower for children to play.
Snowshill Manor
There are many National Trust properties in the area and Snowshill Manor is just outside of Broadway. Be amazed by the eccentric collections on view.
